Daylight Saving Time (DST) begins in the US on Sunday 11 March. US markets will therefore temporarily be trading one hour earlier than the published UK trading times.

This will continue for two weeks until Sunday 25 March when British Summer Time begins, and trading will be reverted back to normal UK trading times.

Trading times during this two-week period (all times are UK time):

  • On Sundays:

Forex markets will open at 9pm
All 24-hour indices and commodities will open at 10pm, instead of 11pm

  • On Fridays:

Forex markets and 24-hour indices will close at 9pm, instead of 10pm
Our support desk will also close at 9pm
US equity markets will be open daily between 1.30pm and 8pm for these two weeks.
